Mr. Robert Simmons began his career with EGC in 1990 as a mechanical and civil planner. He progressed through various assignments, primarily involving Procter & Gamble, to Project Manager.  His experience includes leadership of major shutdowns that have required detailed scheduling and planning.

His project management experience includes projects at the Winton Hill Technical Center (WHTC); Jackson, Tennessee; and Ivorydale Plants.  From 1996 to Feb. 2000, Robert was EGC’s project manager at Procter & Gamble’s Global Product Development Facility (GPDF) where he successfully managed increasingly complex diaper and feminine care projects.  In Feb. 2000 Robert was positioned to the Project Manager of the EPC Contract to provide Finished Product Handling Capability for N2M for the Mehoopany facility.  This continued through the successful turnover of the first two systems of that project.  Since Jan. 2001, Robert has been positioned as sponsor of the Industrial Design Build Group for EGC.

Robert is a 1990 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BS in Civil Engineering. Additionally, he holds a Masters in Construction Engineering & Management from University of Cincinnati. He recently completed an extensive leadership course through the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
