Green Building
EGC works with owners to achieve many goals, including design and construction of buildings that are sustainable, environmentally friendly and/or energy-efficient. Our team is experienced in pursuing LEED Certification or simply applying our knowledge to reduce the cost of building operation and maintenance.
Buildings continually evolve as people’s needs change. EGC is part of the US Green Building Council locally and has learned much about the concept of sustainability.
Systems that produce better efficiency, less waste, and create a cycle of reuse, do not have to cost more. One of the many benefits of including sustainability in a project design is the emphasis on the total cost of a building. Our experienced personnel can help evaluate options and make the best decisions for the overall performance of the project.
